Goodie Two Shoes
I love shoes. LOVE shoes.
I always have.
I have this crazy craving for shoes but I don’t always like to wear shoes. I prefer to be bare foot if I have a choice.
I love cheap shoes. I love expensive shoes. I love in between shoes.
I love boots, too. I have my eyes on these but I don’t know yet if I will buy them for myself for Christmas.
So imagine my delight when I found some gift cards I had forgotten about. You know how you have a gft card for $XX and the purchase leaves a couple dollars on it and you tuck it away for later? I had about $25 in tuck away for later cards for payless.
So, we hopped over to payless and I cruised the rack while the kids tried on various and sundry ridiculous shoes. I found a pair that begged and pleaded to come home with me and so they did.
Is there anything better than free shoes???
I say no.
Oh, wait. There might be something better.

I haven’t been able to scoop my fat butt into them since the spring before Steven was born.
Now I can!
Can I get a w00t w00t!?!
I think I’ll wear the shoes and the jeans Thursday for Thanksgiving.
I am thankful for forgotten gift cards, free shoes and black jeans I can wear again.

I’m the same way with shoes and don’t mind if they’re cheap – I always figure the less I spend on each pair, the more I can have! Those are really sharp, too. My payless hasn’t had anything I’ve liked lately. Very depressing!
